Helen White Fedora Summer Hat

Helen is a classic white ladies fedora summer hat with a white band and gold bridle bit trim. This hat is perfect for the summertime!

Helen is inspired by the famous American author, political activist, and lecturer, Helen Keller. She was born June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Helen Keller was the first deaf and blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. The story of Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, was told in Keller’s autobiography, “The Story of My Life.” This autobiography was later made into a movie called “The Miracle Worker.” Helen Keller campaigned for women’s suffrage and labor rights. Her birthplace is now a museum, and in 1971 Keller was inducted into the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame.
