Kessler Gold Fascinator

This gold feather fascinator is named after the Century of Hats art exhibit in the Mansion on Forsythe Park. Richard Kessler, who put together the museum, is an avid art collector.  He mentioned his idea to women working in a hat shop. They began sending him hats and got their friends to send in hats. The news spread about this new collection, and people from all over the Savannah began sending in hats! The exhibit spans from the 1860s to the 1960s and contains hats of every shape and color.

This hat pays homage to the ladies of Savannah past, present, and future. Handmade by Polly in her Kentucky studio.
