This pink feather headband is inspired by Sema Wilkes. Sema was born in 1907 in Georgia. She was the oldest out of four children and learned how to cook. At 35, she went to work at Dixon’s Boarding house and then took over three years later and transformed the boarding school into a family-style dining restaurant called Mrs. Wilkes Diner. The Diner is now considered a southern staple, and people line up around the block to get a taste of Sema Wilkes’s food.

Made by hand in Kentucky.
